Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everybody! It's pretty crazy, but I'm just about to go to bed on Christmas day, while most of you are just getting started. Some of you, depending on where you are in the world, are still in bed.

Amy and I had a great day. We got up around 6:30 this morning and made breakfast. We opened presents and went to church for 10:30. It was really great. Mom and Dad called while we were in church so I answered and just held the phone there. Darlene Zschech was singing Christmas carols, but when I talked to Mom a few hours later she said she really couldn't make out what was being sung, or who was singing.

Our 3:00 lunch never happened until about 5:00, but it was awesome! Stephen from Ontario and Nolan from Hawaii were here celebrating with us. The food was amazing, and we had real turkey. It was beautiful. There's lots of left-overs, too. I reckon we'll be eating Christmas dinner until March.

Anyway, I need sleep. We'll put up a picture from our day in the next day or two, and we hope to hear from all of you. Maybe just publish a comment about your Christmas... what you ate or what Santa brought you.

We love and miss you all! Merry Christmas!

Ryan

PS - I'm the proud new owner of an iPod Video. It's sick!

Merry Christmas! We actually woke up the kids at about 8:30 this morning...couldn't wait any longer! I know I'm a big kid. The boys opened their gifts...some of them had to be left to Mommy and Daddy to open since they kind of just wanted to play with what was already opened. Gabe LOVES his gift guys! And Aidan also really likes his... thinks it's funny! Anyways...gotta go and get the kids ready to go to Grandma & Grandpa's.... just thought I'd check in... Talk to you soon! Love yas!

Merry Christmas! Sounds like you had a good one. It was a green one for us though. It's snowing today..like we need it now. Joel couldn't sleep on Christmas Eve so what did he and Stacey do? They arrived at Mom and Dad's house at 1:30 A.M. We went to bed at 4 am and got back up at 6:15 am to open gifts. We had dinner at Gramp and Nan Till's house. A busy day but very nice. Leftovers today ....maybe for the rest of the week. Talk to you later. Love yas. xoxo Aunt Pam

The Reid house was a full one for likee 3 days! My Aunt and her 2 kids came over for Christmas! And then my grandparents came over for those 3 days (but they didnt stay over cause they just live like 20 minutes away. It was a good time though... my cousins both just became new christians and they are soo different than from what they use to be like... although my cousin Marylynn is still extremly quiet! We went over to the Carter's Christmas night ( me and Marylynn) to see the gang and tish couldnt believe that she was my cuz she was soo quiet! lol

Does it feel weird to not be going to Rochestor right now? It feels weird for me and ive only gone the past 2 years... but oh well it was a good time with some great memories! Im sure the hotels are glad that the Florenceville crew isnt coming so they can save a little money on Plummers :) lol got to love John Nason! :)

Anyways I wanted an Ipod.. didnt get one but i got an Mp3.. and it doesnt work..grrrr... :S we're gonna get it traded in... :S

Luv you both lots and miss ya

Alison! I got an IPOD Nano too!! What colour is yours? Next Year Christmas will be intense with Alexis and you'll be wishing she was sleeping lol...

As for me..I've decided that I pretty much hate Christmas (not the reason why I celebrate it). My family is really not close and our beliefs really don't match up most of the time...there's more to it..but I just really have decided that I don't like Christmas....

BUT..In GOOD news...I really focused on Jesus this year...no details but I feel really good about what I did :)

Hi, guys! Glad you had a great Christmas! The MacDonald/Michaud/Cox/Quick/Pirie Christmas dinner was good, but just not the same without you two and your parents. Have enjoyed reading your news and looking at your pix. Makes us feel closer to you. Happy New Year! God Bless, Love Kelly, Kevin & Boys

Commenting for the first time....hope you guys had a fantastic Christmas and have a happy and healthy 2007.

I know how bad it sucks being away from family for the holidays.

So I have to ask.....what's with the coat hanger over the Opera House in pictures I have seen??

hey gina!

the sydney harbour bridge is nicknamed the "coat hanger" i guess. i was wondering what was with the coat hanger as well, and that's the answer i got from all the aussie's in the crowd.

it was a pretty cool show with all the fireworks and stuff. i'll have some pix up here in a few minutes.
