We're Really Here!
Hey. Welcome to RyAmy: Down Under...
It's hard to believe, but Amy and I are actually here in Australia. We've been here now for just over a month and have really been enjoying ourselves. It's a beautiful place to be. We're living just outside of Sydney, and it's hot! It's still early in the spring and already we've had temperatures in the mid 30's. Imagine what it'll be like in the summer...
We're attending Hillsong International Leadership College here, and in the few weeks of class we have had, we've learned a lot. I'm looking forward to everything else that we will learn in the next couple of years.
We left a great family and a lot of awesome friends back in Canada, so we really hope this blog makes it easy for us to keep in contact with all of those people, all of whom are welcome to visit anytime. We miss everyone and think of you all often.
Check back here whenever you think of it and hopefully we'll have some new and exciting pictures and news for you all, and feel free to post as often as you wish.

I miss ya'll alot too! It's been pretty slow here but that just means I can focus on my work......THAT SUCKS!
I'm glad to hear that things are really goin good for ya's. I may take a trip to Sydney some time in the next year or so. Maybe I'll be visitin on one of my business trips. I'll just take an extended vacation. Hey T, Gotta watch Jackass 2. Jamie and I went to see it and it was hilarious.
Anyway, gotta get back to work....

Hey guys...the pics of the goat will be along soon. Just waiting to get to WalMart to get them developped. Will have lots of pics of Alexis too, although I am sure Dustin and Alison will flood you with lots of them. She is sweet. We all miss you lots but are really glad you are getting to do this. Besides what is two years eh...Jeremy is still waiting for the pics of a kangaroo...He is hoping to have some moose ones to send after this weekend. I am sure, Amy, you will appreciate them. :) Talk to you later...Luv yas.

Its really great to hear from you! I'm really glad to hear that things are going well.
Things are good here at UMPI too..I'm just sitting here waiting for Blake to get done class, it seems that he some how managed to break into my room and fill it with Balloons and gifts wrapped with newspaper and masking tape.. what a goof ball!!
I'm 20 today Amy..no more teen years..I'm not sure how I feel about the age thing yet.
Ryan..I shot a 12 gage..mossberg, I was so scared..and fire actually came out of the gun! That guns got some kick to er.
I gotta run...I love you and miss you both!

You did leave a lot of awesome friends back home; but God promises to bless those who leave something valuable to follow Him. I'm sure you'll meet a lot of new absolutely amazing friends in Australia (Who knows, some of them may even be Canadian) and the truly great friends will still be there when you get back.

Amy..I miss your smiling face, and Ryan..I miss your funny face....i am so happy that you two are doing what God wants from you...but that doesn't make it any easier to know that we won't see your smiling faces around here for two years...we are saving to visit next year...i can't wait...it still is hard for me to realize that you are not here...and it took your leaving for me to really appreciate how much influence you had on my kids and others...love you guys so much and miss you even more.....
AND BY THE WAY...i think there are better movies to see.....
